Motorcycle Tour Albania 7 Days of Motorcycle Adventure
MOTORCYCLE TOUR ALBANIA: THE MOTORCYCLE TRIP IS ALSO FOR WOMEN PASSENGERS.
A motorcycle trip is an experience that you get prepared by following a passion that has distant roots, in your youth, and which is often the realization of a dream for too long left in the drawer. Nothing should be left to chance or improvisation and for this reason we have prepared a travel itinerary in which, in addition to the care in choosing the routes, particular attention has been paid to the choice of hotels, restaurants and places to visit.
Particular attention is paid to the choice of the recreational activities suggested during the route: the sea, gastronomy, nature and folklore are important elements in this journey as well as the curves and beauty of the landscapes crossed by motorbike: even the "ballasts" will be happy to participate and will bring home the memory of an unforgettable experience.

MOTORCYCLE TOUR ALBANIA: TRUE MOTORCYCLE TOURISM
A motorcycle trip with Holidays in Albania it differs from the usual trips organized at home by relying on GPS or Goolge Maps. Improvisation and adventure are good for when going on a Sunday trip but not when the sweaty holidays expected throughout the year are at stake. Venturing into a country like Albania can mean having to adapt to sleep and eat in places not in line with the standards we are used to. Relying on us is a guarantee of a perfect holiday in which every detail has been chosen to offer the best possible relationship between quality and price and, very often, to offer luxury at an unimaginable price in Italy or in Europe.

MOTO TOUR ALBANIA
In 7 Motorcycle Adventure Days you will have the opportunity to visit the country from North to South through extremely different landscapes: from the Albanian Alps to the South Riviera and to Macedonia, Lake Ohrid and the incredible Tirana.
The landscape will change a thousand times and you will pass from the wonder for the beauty of unspoiled nature to that for the modernity of cities.
You will swim in a beautiful sea on crowded and fun beaches or in places where only we will arrive. The hotels will be comfortable, elegant and ideal for recovering from your motorcycle hours. Food is one of the main reasons why you should decide to leave for this trip: the restaurants are selected from a thousand and you can taste the best of traditional Albanian or international cuisine.
This trip is designed to be the perfect compromise between the motorbike raid and the tourist tour and the hours spent on motorbikes between demanding curves and tracks are perfectly balanced with the time dedicated to relaxation, the sea and good food.

ORGANIZED TRAVEL MOTORCYCLES
We propose this itinerary because it has been tested several times in first person. Don't underestimate the value of these experiences!
Traveling 200 km a day may seem like a trifle for centaurs accustomed to making much more important stages.
Consider that here the roads (good asphalt but many curves) the thousand stops along the route and the obligatorily moderate speed determine very long travel times and that you will be amazed at the time needed to travel a few tens of kilometers.
The hotels, restaurants and even bars where we will stop have been selected after endless disappointments and as many attempts to find the right refreshment.
Much of the travel arrangements serve precisely to avoid disappointment and disservice.
TOURISM MOTORCYCLE
This trip is organized and designed to be an opportunity for tourism, recreation and fun.
The real tourist bike does not use the bike as if it were on the track.
Moderate the use of the accelerator as necessary to enjoy the landscape, the panorama and the tranquility of a ride designed for real "tourists" and not for "fake drivers".
We will often stop to take photographs, selfies or to admire the landscape or buy a souvenir.

DAY ONE:
Durazzo – Koman 140 Km
This adventure kicks off in the Port of Durres. As soon as you land you will find us waiting for you and after a short briefing we will be ready to go.
From Durres we will head north to the city of Kruja where we will make the first stop of the trip. We will visit the ancient Bazaar and, on request, the Ethnographic Museum and the History Museum.
After the visit to Kruja we will leave for Shkoder. We will visit the city and, on request, the Castle of Shkoder.
Next stop on the journey is Lake Koman.
We will follow the course of the River Drin for a long stretch: 40 km of fun and scenic road.
We will have dinner and sleep in Koman in the hotel with the advantage of waking up in the morning ready to arrive in time for the departure of the ferry which departs at 09.00 for its only daily run.

DAY TWO:
Koman – Fierze – Valbona- Fierze – Tirana 288 Km
The second day is scheduled for the ferry crossing of Lake Koman. We will embark the motorbikes on a small boat that, touching the rocks of the mountains, will cross 40 km of lake to leave us in Fierze. It is a journey to say the least suggestive that crosses a fairytale landscape; arm yourself with cameras because the scenery will be like a movie.
Once in Fierze we will move to the Valbona National Park; the road winds its way through the Albanian Alps along the banks of the Valbona River until it reaches the end of the road which ends where vegetation becomes the absolute master of the landscape.
We will stay in Valbona for lunch in a characteristic restaurant right on the river bank. After lunch we will face a rather demanding stage which, crossing passes, passes and forests, will slowly lead us back to the civilization and chaotic Tirana where we will settle in the Hotel.
In the evening we will take a tour (on foot) in the center of Tirana visiting the famous Blloku and we will go from place to place in search of fun, good music and relaxation.

DAY THREE:
Tirana – Durazzo – Valona – Himara 230 km
The third day itinerary is characterized by the passage from the mountain to the sea. Leaving Tirana to return to Durres we will continue the journey to Vlora and then follow the coast road before tackling the Llogara pass where we will stop for lunch.
After passing the pass we will stop in the wonderful Jala, one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania where we will swim in one of the most beautiful and exclusive bathing establishments and we will stay there until almost sunset.
We will continue following the coast road to Himara where we will settle in the Hotel to spend the night.

DAY FOUR:
Himara – Girocastro 102 Km
The stage of the fourth day of travel is very short but the day will be demanding. The route is a real delight for the motorcyclist who loves to follow curves and hairpin bends but we will stop very often to swim in the sea and visit the most beautiful beaches, the panoramic points and the most characteristic places.
As soon as we leave we will stop in Llamane for a swim and spend the morning on one of the most beautiful beaches in Albania.
As soon as we leave the beach we will stop in the beautiful Porto Palermo to visit the Ali Pasha Castle and, why not, take another swim in the sea!
The day will continue between short sections covered by motorbike and pleasant stops.
In the late afternoon we will arrive in Sarande we will visit: walk on the seafront and aperitif on the sea.
We continue the journey in the direction of Girocastro. Halfway there will be a stop to visit before arriving in the beautiful Blue Eye, one of the most beautiful places in Southern Albania; it is a natural spring that flows from the subsoil generating a beautiful lake.
After the visit we will continue to the ancient city of Girocastro where we will stop for the night. Settled in the hotel we will go out to visit the beautiful old town full of artisan shops before going to dinner.

DAY FIVE
Girocastro – Pogradec 237 km
The day ahead is the hardest of the whole trip. The route is particularly demanding: the very damaged road surface, some short stretches of dirt road and the infinite number of curves will put a strain on bikers and ballasts but the beauty of the landscape and nature will compensate for the effort!
We will leave early from Girocastro to reach our first stop: Permet, where we will take a short break to visit the thermal springs.
The second part of the day will be the really demanding one but also the most suggestive and fun. To travel the remaining kilometers, it will take several hours but this will be one of the best memories you will bring home. On the way we will stop in a farm in the woods to have lunch.
Arriving in Korca we will stop for a break and visit the city: recent urban restructuring works have made it deserve the nickname "little Paris". We will then continue to Pogradec where we will settle in the hotel.

DAY SIX:
Pogradec - Ohrid Lake - Galicia National Park - Pogradec - Tirana 190 Km
We wake up comfortably and have breakfast. The departure is scheduled for 09.30 heading towards the border with Macedonia which we will cross along the shore of the large Lake Ohrid until we almost reach Ohrid.
We will take a short break at the Water Museum (optional visit) and then go back and make a long detour in the Galicia National Park arriving up to over 1600 meters above sea level. Returning to Albania we will skirt the other side of the lake and then return to Albania in the direction of Tirana;
Arrived in Tirana, after accommodation in the hotel, we will go out for dinner in one of the restaurants in the center.

DAY SEVEN:
Tirana – Monte Dajti – Durazzo 45 Km
On the last day of travel we will make a short excursion near Tirana before returning to Durres. We will have lunch in a panoramic room where you can see the whole city. At the end of the lunch we will return to Durres for greetings and boarding on the ferry for the return to Italy.
